Our Story
The Chelsea and Violet brand was born out of a desire to create an affordable, trend-forward line of women’s apparel, shoes and accessories. Our co-founders, Chelsea and Violet, shared a passion for fashion and a vision to develop a collection of pieces women would be excited to wear.
After collaborating on the initial product designs and sourcing the perfect materials, Chelsea and Violet debuted in 2018 as a Dillard’s exclusive brand. We launched with a comprehensive assortment of stylish dresses, versatile separates, chic footwear and must-have accessories.
The response from Dillard’s customers was immediate. Women loved the contemporary silhouettes, gorgeous prints and attention to detail found throughout the Chelsea and Violet collection. Our flattering fits, easy care fabrics and accessible price points also struck a chord.
Now, just a few years later, Chelsea and Violet has developed into one of the most popular exclusive brands at Dillard’s. We add new pieces to our assortment each season while continuing to offer our customers the very best in women’s fashion essentials.

Chelsea, Co-Founder and Creative Director
With a lifetime love of fashion and innate sense of style, Chelsea oversees all creative aspects of the brand. She provides vision and direction for product design, merchandising and marketing. Chelsea handpicks the fabrics, prints and details that make Chelsea and Violet pieces special. Her leadership ensures our collections stay on-trend and true to our brand identity.
Violet, Co-Founder and Operations Director
The organizational powerhouse of the brand, Violet oversees sourcing, production and product development. She manages our global supply chain to ensure excellent quality control and on-time delivery. Violet also heads up fit testing, technical design and other operational areas. Her keen eye and diligence result in exceptional products from start to finish.
Evelyn, Design Director
Our talented designer Evelyn leads the product design process from concept to completion. She oversees the sketching, prototyping and fitting stages to transform ideas into wearable pieces women will love. Evelyn’s knack for blending current trends with flattering silhouettes makes her invaluable. Her team looks to her for creative guidance and inspiration when developing each seasonal collection.
Sophia, Production Manager
